Professional Background
I hold a PhD in Language Education and am a Principal Lecturer at the Edo State College of Education. I have over 20 years of teaching and research experience in English Language and Language Education at the tertiary level. My research focuses on English Language composition and instructional methodologies, with a particular interest in the effectiveness of instructional methods such as Genre, Process, and Product approaches to writing. I have published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to English Language instruction, writing development, and the impact of gender and pedagogy on student achievement. In addition to teaching and research, I am actively involved in curriculum development and academic mentoring with my institution. I am a member of several bodies, including the International Association of Language Educators, the English Language Teachers Association of Nigeria, and the Language Teachers Association of Nigeria. I regularly participate in academic conferences and workshops related to Language Education and teacher development.
