Mr. Ehigiator began his professional journey as an educationist driven by a strong desire to contribute to the development of Nigeria’s educational system. He specialized in Educational Administration and Planning, a discipline that has enabled him to contribute meaningfully to educational policy implementation, institutional leadership, and strategic planning across various levels of education.
He gained significant prominence during his tenure at the Edo State Universal Basic Education Board (EdoSUBEB), where he served as an Education Quality Assurance Evaluator. In this role, he was instrumental in assessing and improving teaching and learning standards in public basic schools. His work contributed to the enhancement of quality assurance mechanisms, policy enforcement, and continuous professional development initiatives for educators in the state.
Currently, Mr. Ehigiator serves as a Lecturer at the Edo State College of Education, where he lectures in the Department of General Education. Dr. Tina Irimoren is a distinguished educator, researcher and child development advocate with a dynamic career spanning over two decades. Her expertise lies in early childhood education, inclusive pedagogies, curriculum development and behavioural analysis, with a strong commitment to research-driven practices that support children’s well-being, education, learning and development.
Holding a PhD and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education and additional credentials including a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from University of Ibadan, and a Qualified Behaviour Analyst (QBA) certification via QABA Board, Tina combines academic rigor with real-world expertise. Her research interests span supportive relationships in early development, climate change and children, neurodevelopmental disabilities and policy leadership in early childhood systems.
Currently serving as Head of Department of Early Childhood Care and Primary Education at the Edo State College of Education, Tina leads with vision, ensuring academic quality, inclusive practices, and strategic partnerships with stakeholders including UNICEF. She also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Benin’s Institute of Education, mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students – B.Eds, M.Eds and PhDs.
Tina has contributed to scholarship through peer-reviewed journal articles, co-authored book and numerous conference presentations. Her doctoral and master’s research focused on caregiver strategies and parental care in relation to behavioural and academic outcomes of preschoolers. She continues to advocate for quality education through active participation in professional networks such as ECDtf, Childhood International, ECDAN, ECAN, NACM, ISCEST, and the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria.
An active community volunteer and Disaster Management Adviser with the Nigerian Red Cross Society, she has engaged in humanitarian work with organizations like United Nations, WHO, UNICEF, and John Hopkins University. As a public speaker and facilitator, she has delivered invited lectures and workshops on neurodiversity, inclusive education, curriculum innovation, and mental health in both academic and non-formal settings.
With technical proficiencies in SPSS, Power BI, and digital tools, and strong communication and mentoring skills, Tina is also committed to leadership development, gender inclusivity and capacity building.
