Dr. Victoria Oare Okojie
Dr. Victoria Okojie is a renowned Nigerian librarian, academician, and administrator. She’s the pioneer Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria, a federal government agency. Okojie has also served as President of the Nigerian Library Association and Chair of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) Africa Section. ¹ ² ³
Her impressive career spans over four decades, with notable positions at the University of Ibadan, the British Council, and the University of Abuja. Okojie holds a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and has received numerous awards, including Fellow of the Nigerian Library Association and UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning.
