Dr. Victoria Okojie is a distinguished Nigerian librarian, academician, and administrator with a remarkable career spanning over three decades. She is the pioneer Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria, a federal government agency responsible for regulating the library profession.

Her illustrious career includes notable positions at prestigious institutions such as the University of Ibadan, the British Council, and the University of Abuja. She has also held leadership roles in professional organizations, including President of the Nigerian Library Association and Chair of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) Africa Section.

A recipient of numerous awards and honors, Dr. Okojie holds a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Her achievements have been recognized with fellowships, including Fellow of the Nigerian Library Association and UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning.
